PARASITES OF OLD

Mutualism is a way of life that is based on the mutual assistance of two living things from different species to benefit both sides.

In this project, an old building with parasite structures comes together.

The masonry stone building was restored and reinforced with steel structures which were called a parasite.

The roof is connected to the parasite structure with steel ropes to lighten the load of the walls that are difficult to transport the roof.

This steel parasite structure also provides natural light as well as strengthens the old building.
